Argentina: The First 48 Hours
After a marathon 11 hr flight, we landed in warm, sunny Buenos Aires, shed our sweaters and coats from New York and jumped straight into a Radio Taxi en route to the flat. It is the middle of spring and we are stationed in the heart of trendy Palermo, surrounded by as many new construction projects as boomtown Williamsburg. There is an unmistakable energy in the air and while it is not yet the height of tourist season there are throngs of people everywhere (not surprising for a city of 15 million). Amongst all of that here are a few quiet moments…
