Mark Leibowitz backstage at Galliano
PDN’s photo of the day features seven images of Mark Leibowitz’s Backstage series at John Galliano’s Fall 08 and Spring 09 shows in Paris. When asked how the images were made, Leibowitz wouldn’t discuss it with PDN, but its pretty obvious i think. Not to suggest that making the images would be easy, but there are definitely double exposures, slow exposures, strobes firing and probably one or two more tricks going on here. Regardless, the technical stuff is insignificant next to the aesthetics. I think they are beautiful in an alternate reality/psychedelic kind of way and here are my favorites.
