Julius Shulman
Shulman, the preeminent modernist architectural photographer died wednesday in Los Angeles at 98.
I had the chance to see a Shulman retrospective at the Getty in LA a few years ago and even own a copy of his book Photographing Architecture and Interiors. He had an incomparable sense of composition and as far as I’m concerned is the god-father of modern architectural photography. You can see more of his iconic work here.
