This Could Be Our Joint
I’ve been shooting a lot of reflections lately, like the Hotel Delmano series and Ghost in the Machine. Here’s another much different from those, made in the open door of a bar around the corner. It is never open for business, but the shelves are stocked. Occasionally the doors are flung wide open, the televisions turned to a sporting event, but never a sole inside.
Then there’s fog, one of my all time favorite subjects.
First “This Could Be Our Joint.” It’s as wonderful and mysterious as the actual place, screaming for explanation!
“DEN to LGA” stopped me cold even though I’ve seen hundreds of photos looking out airplane windows (most of which are bland). Not this, as it could be a BAHAUS building viewed sideways.
