			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>These two images take me back to when I was small, exploring the wooded area behind my parents house, pretending I was Indiana Jones in the jungle of Peru or something similar.  At an earlier time, all I wanted was a tree fort from which I could lead an imaginary army into battle.  My father set out to build one and even though we didn&#8217;t get beyond a little platform wedged in the fork of an oak tree, it was perfect.  What it lacked in the way of a roof, walls or any sort of safety railing it made up for in its rugged simplicity. </p>

<p>Here are a few more images from the Botanical Garden that encapsulate what I love about spaces like this.  There is an inherent absurdity to labeling, shaping and cordoning what is in fact ungovernable that makes these images amusing to me.  </p>
